  • Christmas album

  • Folks

Here is a mini album of songs I wrote for other people.
A few years ago, someone commissioned me to write a song for their wedding anniversary. I really enjoyed doing it. I got to know a lot about the person I was writing about and a lot about the person I was writing for. It was really nice. Then, another person asked me to write for a birthday. It was really nice to work on that, as well.
I’ll be adding more in the near future.

  • Jane’s Song

I wrote this for a friend’s aunt who had passed away. She worked three days a week at Columbia University and then three days a week at her studio in Brooklyn, making art. She was very prolific in watercolors with some of the subject matter being plate-glass windows of buildings in Times Square. She was very loved.

I’m doing it. It’s a way for me to be accountable to myself by having to create something for you. I’ll let something sit on the backburner for a long time if I don’t have a deadline. This gives me a deadline.

  • Can’t Kill the Queen

Here’s a track written for Boomstick Ballet.
