    Here’s an interview I did with Big Bucks Burnett.  I first met Bucks when Mauve Oed and I went into his record store and begged him for the chance to open for Tiny Tim.  Bucks was president of the Tiny Tim Fan Club and he had booked a show called Tinypalooza in Dallas, TX.  This interview focuses on his passion for the 8-track tape.

    During a tour in the UK, I played a small venue in Glasgow. Afterward, a guy named Jimmy came up and asked if I liked Jim Steinman. It was nice to hear someone mention his name rather than the fat Meatloaf reference. He wanted to take me on a tour of single malts at the bar. Some of the people at the show warned me to stay away from Jimmy, as he has been banned from most bars in Glasgow. Since I was leaving town the following day, I saw no harm in being kicked out of an O’Neills. There are plenty around.
