Magic Brian and Corn Mo’s New Year’s Eve Bash at the Parkside Lounge

Jason Trachtenburg of the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players
and Albert Cadabra the great deceiver. DJ Harry Hines will spin in the front.
I will make bbq ribs if you like ribs. He and Magic will lead a Champagne toast at midnight. If you’re coming and you don’t like ribs, let me know and I’ll try to make something you like.
$75 – ticket to show, food, Champagne toast, full open bar
$50 – ticket to show, food, Champagne toast, beer/wine/well drinks
$25 – ticket to show, Champagne toast
(open bar from 8pm-2am – food at 9 – show at 10 – 2010 at midnight)
Tickets can be purchased at the door but reservation are strongly recommended.

I’ve been playing a few of these Bushwick Book Clubs this year. A book is selected and the group has to read the book and write some songs based on the book. Linked is a podcast with some of us who are in the club.

Here’s an interview I did with Big Bucks Burnett. I first met Bucks when Mauve Oed and I went into his record store and begged him for the chance to open for Tiny Tim. Bucks was president of the Tiny Tim Fan Club and he had booked a show called Tinypalooza in Dallas, TX. This interview focuses on his passion for the 8-track tape.
I reached my 10th grade goal of getting in Keyboard Magazine this month. There’s no link as it is only in the hard copy. Next is to reach my 8th grade goal of getting into The Savage Sword of Conan.
